The son of Peter Booth, joiner and his wife Ann, Walter Kinsey Booth received his architectural training in Liverpool, By 1871 he had moved to Salford. Walter Kinsey Booth was briefly in partnership with George Enticknap between 1879 and 1881. Following the dissolution of the partnership he commenced practice on his own account, all his known commissions being obtained in the period 1881 to 1887. It would seem that he then reverted to paid employment, his occupation in the 1891 1901 and 1911 census being given as architect’s assistant
