                    On Saturday the mayor of Eccles laid the foundation-stone of Trinity Church, Eccles. The church, a branch of the Reform Church of England, will have 350 sittings and its cost will be about £2000. The architect is Mr Fell of Manchester. [Building News 12 May 1893]
Trinity Church, Reform Church of England, at the junction of Albert Road and Monton Road opened on 7 April 1894 at a total cost of £2020 is an edifice of stone in the perpendicular style consisting of chancel, nave, vestry, organ chamber and an incomplete tower: the church will seat 450 persons.
