NEW SHIPBUILDING WORKS, BARROW-IN-FURNESS - Builders desirous of submitting Tenders for the Erection of the above Works (covering an area of over 25,000 square yards), may inspect the plans and Specifications at the Clerk of the Works Office. Bills of quantities may be obtained on application to Messrs Paley and Austin, architects, Lancaster. [The Architect 4 March 1871 page xi]

TO BUILDERS. —NEW SHIPBUILDING WORKS, BARROW-IN-FURNESS, NORTH LANCASHIRE - Builders desirous of submitting Tenders for the erection of the above Works, covering an area of over 25,000 square yards, may inspect the plans and specifications at the Clerk of the Works Office on the site from Monday the 27th instant. Bills of quantities may be obtained on application to Messrs. Paley and Austin, architects, Lancaster. Tenders to be sent. under cover, to the architect on or before Wednesday the 8th of March.
