This is the first known building by the Waddington, Son and Dunkerley partnership, and a tendering notice for it was placed in the Burnley Express for 19 August 1900. It was a large four storey building with basements and a large square tower. It became the District Bank about 1925, and was demolished during the second half of the 20th century. The site is now occupied by offices. [RF]
