New build

This picturesque house is built in Accrington bricks, with vegetating sand tiles on the roof. The architects have obtained some play in the fine chimney stacks. The accommodation on the ground floor comprises a sitting-hall, drawing-room, dining-room, loggia, kitchen and offices, wash-house, motor-house, and enclosed yard. On the first floor there are day and night nurseries, three bedrooms, dressing-room, bathroom, etc., and owing to the levels of the ground a short flight of six steps from the day nursery brings one to the terrace, which is a considerable convenience for children and nurses. On the second floor there are four more rooms in the roof. The casement windows have leaded lights. Cost on application to the architects
