 NEW METHODIST CHAPEL & SCHOOLS, SOUTHPORT - These new buildings have been erected on a site at the corner of Duke Street and King Street. They are in the Italian style, and the walls are built of the best Burnley parpoints and Cefn ashlar dressings, backed with common brickwork. Accommodation is provided for 750 persons in the church and 200 scholars in the school. Vestries, classrooms etc. are provided. The cost of the whole of the woorks was £6,200.
