Four Cottages, Llwyn Derw, Fforestfach Garden Village, Swansea

Building work at Fforest Fach did not commence until 1913. The four cottages at the entrance to the estate, presumably intended as “show houses,” were constructed of local stone with Tintagel slate and remain the most architectural of all the dwellings constructed. It would appear that Pepler and Allen were responsible for only eight houses on the estate.
