                    A new Congregational chapel is in course of erection at Nelson, near Burnley, from plans by Mr. Fell, of Spring-gardens, Manchester. Accommodation will be provided for 650, at a cost for erection of £3,000. The foundation stone was laid on Saturday. [Building News 2 May 1884 page 693].
