The committee have sanctioned the designs of Messrs Omerod and Pomeroy, architects, Bolton, for the erection of the Adlington Parish Church new day school. The Board of Education sanctioned this school in August last year for 250 elder scholars. The building will in every respect be thoroughly up-to-date, according to the latest regulations of the authorities. It is estimated that the cost will be about £3,000.
