Arnold England was born at Littleborough in 1875, the son of James England, joiner. Following his marriage to Henrietta Travis he moved to St Anne’s-on-the-Sea where their first child was born in 1901. In 1926 -1927 he was Mayor of Lytham St Anne’s and a Justice of the Peace. LRIBA.
