A post-war partnership initially between William Ellis and his son, John Basil Ellis, with offices in Manchester and St Helens. William Ellis died in April 1965 and John Basil Ellis in October 1966. In 1968 the remaining partners amalgamated with Desmond Williams & Partners to form the Ellis Williams Partnership.
