Three warehouses were constructed roughly on the present car park in Faulkner Street 1877‑8 which would seem to correspond with the classified advertisements. However, all three records have failed to survive and the Building Bye law indices are silent on the architects employed. The building at the corner of Faulkner Street and Nicholas Street, described as 15a Nicholas Street was designed for a James Ogden, and that 30‑32 and 34‑36 Faulkner Street were designed for E D Milnes Bros. A separate check has failed to produce any examples of other Laurence Booth work. [David Hilton]
