Trinity Presbyterian Church, Ramsay, is now being erected by the Presbyterians of Ramsay. The new church stands in Waterloo-road, near the entrance to the new pier. Messrs. T. D. Barry and Son, the architects of Peel New Church, of Ports St. Mary and Patrick churches, have arranged the plans. A schoolroom, capable of holding 350 scholars, will be placed in the basement. The church above will be seated with open pews of pitch pine varnished: the roof timbers will be shown; the pulpit will be fixed at the corner of the southern arch opposite the side porch. The church will accommodate 350, with choir pews in addition. Messrs. Boyde Brothers, of Ramsay, Isle of Man, are the builders. [Building News 8 February 1884 page 228]

A new Presbyterian church was opened at Ramsey, Isle of Man, on Sunday. It has been erected from designs prepared by Messrs. T. D. Barry and Son, of Liverpool, by Messrs. Boyde Brothers, Ramsey, and provides accommodation for 400 worshippers. A tower porch at the north-west angle of the nave forms the principal entrance, and this tower will ultimately be surmounted by a lofty spire. The benches are of varnished pitch pine, and the roof is open timbered, and of Baltic red fir. The heating apparatus has been supplied by Mr. J. Assheton Buck, of Liverpool. The windows are glazed with rolled cathedral-toned glass. There is a vestry below the chancel, and lecture hall below the church. The estimated cost of site and building is £2,200.
