HYDE CORPORATION - TO CONTRACTORS - The Corporation are prepared to receive Tenders for the Erection of THREE CHAPELS at the Cemetery.  Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained (on payment of £1. 1s. which will be returned on receipt of a bona-fide tender) on application to Messrs. J. W. and R. F. Beaumont, architects, 10 St. James's Square, Manchester, on and after the 7th instant. Sealed tenders. endorsed "Cemetery Chapels" to be delivered to the undersigned at the Town Hall, Hyde, not later than noon on the 26 February instant. The Corporation do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender, but preference will be given to persons or firms tendering who pay to their workpeople the standard of wages at the time in the borough or district.
