This hotel has recently been erected by Messrs Southern & Sons, builders, of Salford, from the designs and under the supervision of Mr William Ball, architect, of Manchester for the owners of the Boddington’s Brewery Company. The external treatment is picturesque and the shorter facade is especially effective and pleasing. The walling is of red Ruabon bricks with Corsehill stone dressings.
