THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER BANK - The improvements  which have been made by the company of this establishment on the site lately occupied as their “managing room,” reflect the greatest credit, not only upon the architect,  E H Shellard, Esq. who drew out the designs, but also upon Messrs. Haines & Son, who carried those designs into effect. It is expected that the business will be removed into the new premises in about a fortnight, and we can assure our readers that such are the expenses incurred in fitting them up, that they will agree with us in asserting, that the Managers of the Bank in incurring this large outlay, have not for one moment lost sight of the name which they have established for being “the most wealthy and liberal bank in the county.” We cannot refrain, however, from expressing our sorrow that the new front was not carried along the entire premises; for, had such been the case, would then have formed one of the principal public buildings in this queen of watering places.
