NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE - St Philip's parsonage is at present in course of erection, from the designs of Mr G. T. Redmayne, of Manchester, who was also architect for the new church of the same parish consecrated last year. The church cost £4,200 (including the site), and is a poverty-stricken-looking edifice. The parsonage is expected to cost £2,000, with the site. Let us hope that the proportion of outlay between S. Philip's Church and its parsonage is not a usual one in such cases.
