"Rosenheath'" Heaton Mersey, Stockport
This house has been erected for Mr F Norbury on a site commanding extensive views of the surrounding country. The peculiarity of the situation rendered it necessary to have the kitchen and scullery overlooking the front entrance approach, so as to give the dining and drawing rooms better views. The house contains two entrance rooms, kitchen, pantries and scullery with lavatory on the ground floor and six bedrooms, also bathrooms, on the first floor and attic. The basement contains wash-house and larder. The usual ordinary materials have been used in construction and the house forms one of similar residences erected from the designs of Messrs Darbyshire and Smith, Manchester.
