Built about 1932, this was the house in which Johnson lived from at least 1933 until his death in 1952. He has been attributed as the architect for the following reasons:
- He was probably the first occupant, as the road was only developed in the early 1930s
- The stylistic features, such as the elaborate brickwork on the chimneys and the window layout round the front door, differentiate it from its neighbours and indicate it could well have been builtd as a “house for an architect”.·
- The house was named after the village in Lincolnshire where Johnson’s father was born.
