Redecoration St Mary’s Church, Hulme

ST MARY’S CHURCH, HULME – This large building is at present undergoing redecoration and will reopen on 23rd inst. The designs of Mr Reuben Bennett have been selected in a limited competition, and to him the work has been entrusted. Mr John Lowe, FRIBA, of this city is the architect, and has the general supervision of the improvements. [Manchester Guardian 14 July 1882 page 5]
