Rawtenstall Bridge
COUNTY OF LANCASTER—TO CONTRACTORS - The Justices of the Peace for the County of Lancaster are prepared to RECEIVE TENDERS for Taking Down and Rebuilding RAWTENSTALL BRIDGE, in the Township of Lower Booths and Rawtenstall, near the Ram Inn, in Rawtenstall. The new bridge will be built with stone abutments and wrought-iron plate girders to carry the roadway. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Bridge-master's office, 1 Princess Street, Manchester. Sealed tenders, of which forms will be supplied, are to be sent to the undersigned on or before the 3rd day or April next, endorsed “Tender for Rawtenstall Bridge.” The Justices do not pledge themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.
