STRETFORD PUBLIC BATHS - On Saturday evening the new baths which have been provided for the public use in Stretford through the munificence of Mr John Rylands were formally opened in the presence of a large assemblage. The baths occupy the site of the playground at the rear of the Town Hall. The plunge bath measures 60 feet by 30 feet, and is furnished with the usual dressing boxes and other conveniences. ..... Messrs Charles Clegg and Sons (sic), architects of this city, prepared the plans for the structure and the works were executed by Messrs Robert Neill and Sons, Strangeways.
