Proposed Grand Theatre and Palace of Varieties, Church Street, Heywood

The company has been formed with the object of acquiring a vacant plot of land situate in Church Street, Heywood and of erecting thereon an up-to-date excellently equipped Theatre or “Variety Palace” with all the various improvements now customarily comprised in first-clas modern places of entertainment. The selected site contains about 1,150 square yards close to the centre of the town with a frontage of 105 feet or thereabouts to the main road.
