PRIVATE SCHOOL, WHALLEY RANGE, MANCHESTER - This building is in course of erection upon a plot of land next Withington-road and College and Burford Streets, for Mr. H. Vannan, and is intended for scholastic purposes. Externally it will be faced with white-ended brickwork, tuck pointed, and relieved by stock brick and stone dressings. The accommodation provided is: On the ground floor, three class-rooms, residence for keeper, and the customary conveniences; on the first floor, a spacious lecture-hall, approached by a stone staircase.
