Some months ago, the Prince Albert Hotel, which is the property of the Stroud Brewery Company, was entirely rebuilt, and now forms a good example of Cotswold architecture, having been designed by an eminent, London architect Mr. Morley Horder. In order to add to beauty and attractiveness of the house it was decided to lay out bowling green at the rear of the premises. [Stroud News 3 May 1912]
