A NEW POLICE STATION FOR PENDLETON - A new police station has just been erected by the Pendleton Highway Committee of the Salford Corporation at Pendleton. The station, which adjoins the Pendleton Town hall, contains four cells, a large charge office, and a dwelling house for the inspector. It is a substantial brick building, with stone dressings, and has been built from designs by the borough engineer (Mr Arthur Jacob) at a cost of £1,260. The cells are lined with white brickwork.
