“Peasons,” No. 53, Holbrook Lane, is a large house constructed in subdued red brick dating from the 1920’s. The architect was P Morley Horder and the design appears to be derived from Elizabethan manor houses. The property is bounded by a brick wall along its frontage with elaborate ironwork gates guarding a long driveway to the house itself which is entered through an archway.
