Mr. John C. Derham, architect for the Blackpool Tower and Palace Company, applied for sanction to structural alterations ai the Palace Cinema, St. Annes. He explained that his clients desired to place the chairs in the centre where they would be under better supervision and make the gangways on each side. Inspector Dewhurst stated that the Police had inspected the premises and were satisfied that the alteration would be advantageous. The application was acceded to.
