ST CHADS, FAR HEADINGLY, LEEDS - on June 25 last we gave a perspective of the new east end of this church which was hung at the Academy, and our illustration this week is a view of the entire church. The execution of the work is in progress under the direction of the architects Messrs J Gibbons and Son, Manchester. The foundations of the new chancel and organ-chamber are already put in, and the Bishop of Ripon will lay a foundation stone on November 27. The plan herewith shows the general arrangements, and the present perspective illustrates how the extensions group with the original building which has a good tower and spire.
