                    Built to accommodate 250 pupils at a cost of £1000. Comprised a school and school house built on a 0.4 acre site donated by Lord Stamford. The school opened on 4 February 1856 and was closed in 1960. The buildings were subsequently demolished and the Parish hall built on the site.
