The Methodist New Connexion Chapel was built 1903 to the designs of James Firth of Oldham. The agreement to build Alexandra Road Methodist New Connexion Chapel, Penzance was signed on 4 December 1901, by the builder Edward Pidwell, of 4, Penare Terrace and the Reverend Matthew May and John Andrew, Secretary of The Trustees and Edwin Nankervis, Treasurer of The Trustees. The cost was to be £2,292 and 10 shillings. Edward Pidwell was also the developer of Greenbank Terrace houses. 

Now converted to residential apartments.
