On Wednesday in last week Sir Arthur Anstice, K.C.B., opened at Coalbrookdale the new county technical school, which has been provided to supply the needs of the Wenlock district. The school is situated in the prettiest part of the Dale, and contiguous to the railway station. It has cost £9,000, provides accommodation for 75 boys and 75 girls. The buildings have been erected by Messrs Dorse of Cradley Heath, from the designs of Mr. Joseph Holt, A.R.I.B.A., of Albert-square, Manchester. [Building News 8 December 1911 page 814]
