HAMPSTEAD PUBLIC BATHS - Yesterday afternoon a new and costly addition to the Hampstead Public Baths and Gymnasium in Finchley New-road, North Hampstead, was opened by Mr. F. E: Baines, C.B.,chairman of the Hampstead Commissioners of Baths and Washhouses. These baths were originally erected a few years at a total cost, including site, of over £20,000, but there was only one swimming bath for ladies, and the addition opened yesterday was a new first-class ladies' swimming bath, the cost of which, with various improvements carried out in connection therewith, has been over £10,000.
