BOYS' AND GIRIS' REFUGES. NEW H0MEs ON THE BELMONT ESTATE - In connection with the Belmont estate at Schools Hill, Cheadle, which is being developed as a children's garden village by the Manchester and Salford Boys' and Girls' Refuges, two new homes are in course of erection, and memorial-stones will be laid this afternoon. One home is in memory of Mrs Leonard K Shaw, and when completed will be occupied by 20 girls, and the other home, which will accommodate 20 boys will commemorate Mr Louis M Hayes, a member of the committee for 24 years. At present, nearly 100 children are in residence at Belmont.
