New build
Situated in that part of Cheetham Hill within the township of Broughton, Salford, the eleven purpose-built shop units, with living accommodation over, form the middle section of the range of buildings between Thomas Street and George Street. Their construction was almost immediately followed by that of King Edward’s Buildings (datestone 1904) at the junction with George Street. Although the shop fronts have been much altered over the years, the upper parts still remain generally as the submitted drawings.
