Convalescent Cottage and Nurses' Home, Bromley Hospital, Skym Corner
ENLARGEMENT OF SCARLET FEVER BLOCK. BROMLEY AND BECKENHAM JOINT HOSPITAL, SKYM CORNER - It is proposed to enlarge the fever hospital at Skym Corner. The committee of the Bromley and Beckenham Hospital Board will meet this afternoon at the hospital. And at a meeting of the board, an conference will be held with Mr John Ladds, their architect, as to the enlargement of the scarlet fever block, the provision of accommodation for nurse, and the erection of a convalescent ward. A convalescent cottage and nurses' home are about to be added to the hospital at Bromley, Kent, at an outlay of £2,000. Mr. John Ladds, of London, is the architect, and Mr. H. Heathfield, of Beckenham, is the contractor. [Building News 23 May 1890 page 746]
