The club provides the following accommodation: basement - beer cellar, heating chamber, engine room for electric light plant, storage; ground floor - entrance hall, lounge bar, smoke room, card room, billiard room (four tables) lavatories; first floor - public hall to seat 450, supper room, servery, ladies and gentlemen’s lavatories, crush hall; second floor - steward’s quarters. The general contractors were Messrs The Hall Construction Company Limited Salford. ... list of sub-contractors.... The architect is Mr J E Kewell LRIBA of Manchester and Irlam.
