Conservative Club, Gorton, Manchester - On the 16th inst. Mr. Ernest F. G. Hatch, M.P., opened a new Conservative Working Men's Club at Gorton. The new building is situated at the junction of Gorton-lane, Church-lane, and Wellington-street. The new club has been erected from the designs of Mr. Thomas J. Bushell. It consists of a billiard-room, 50 feet by 25 feet, an assembly-room of the same dimensions, reading, committee, card, and smoking-rooms, with cloak-rooms, the usual conveniences, and apartments for the caretaker.
