Christ Church High Wycombe (Architectural Competition)
CHRIST CHURCH HIGH WYCOMBE.—The members of the Free Church, having determined to erect permanent building in lieu of their present temporary structure in Crendon-street, have recently invited a limited number of architects to furnish them with designs for their selection. Plans have been accordingly sent in by Messrs. Paull and Bonella, and Mr. Wills, of London ; Mr. Charles Carter, of Great Marlow; Mr. Thomas Thurlow, High Wycombe; aud Mr. Arthur Vernon, of 26, Great George-street, Westminster, and High Wycombe. After careful investigation of the plans, the design of Mr. Arthur Vernon has been selected. The accommodation required is for 450, and the intended outlay is £2,000.
