                    A new permanent cabmen’s shelter of red brick, with stone dressings and high peaked ornamental roof, with urinal to the rear, has been completed at the east corner of the enclosed green space at the junction of Cross Lane with Broad Street, Pendleton. The design is by Mr. Arthur Jacob; cost, about £180.
