Designed by Charles Wesley Johnson of Whaley Bridge and erected in 1904-5, replacing an earlier 1871 building which then became the schoolrooms and church hall. The building contractor was William Lewis Adkinson of Lumb Lane in Bramhall, a member of the church. Extensive additions consisting of meeting rooms and extra facilities were added in 1983, and the grounds were re-landscaped. In 1991, the schoolrooms and church hall were demolished and replaced by a new building called Centrepoint. In the last few years, another programme of refurbishment has been carried out, including the remodelling of the front entrance of the church.
