On Good Friday last the foundation stone of a new Baptist chapel was laid at New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. The estimated total cost is £3,500. The chapel will be 71 feet long by 42 feet wide internally, and will contain about 750 sittings. All interior woodwork will be pitch pine varnished. Three vestries and heating chamber are included.
