The Building Committee of the Austrian Synagogue are proposing to erect a new synagogue at Fairy Lane and Mezeppa Street Cheetham. The plans have been prepared by Peter Cummings ARIBA architect & surveyor, 51 King Street Manchester.[Builder 11 June 1926 Page 971].
The intended site was just off Bury New Road in Mezappa Street re-named Canonsleigh Close. The scheme appears not to have progressed
