Alliance House west side, standing at the corner with St. Ann’s Street Built c 1900, the building is eclectic in style with French Renaissance elements. Four storeys, octagonal corner turret with a dome and statue. Life insurance company HQ. The ground floor much altered. Building  Sandstone ashlar. Statue of Queen Victoria on turret at St. Ann's street corner. Carved male figures over 2nd storey windows. Statue of Queen Victoria  Sandstone ashlar  230cm high approx.
