Stanley Maybury
Stanley Tindell Maybury, the eldest son of John Henry Maybury, architect (qv) was born in 1885 and trained as an architect, being noted as an architectural pupil in the 1901 Census.
With his brother Douglas (born December 1889*) he sailed from Liverpool to New York aboard the Baltic, arriving at Ellis Island on 5 April 1907. Their given destination was Toronto, Canada but no further information has been discovered regarding Stanley. Douglas Maybury, also listed as an architect in the Ellis Island records, moved to Saskatchewan where he died at Biggar (motto: New York is big. This is Biggar) on 24 March 1924, aged 34.
Neither brother is included in the Biographical Directory of Canadian architects.
