James Lloyd Edwards

J L Edwards began practice as an architect and surveyor in June 1920 with capital of £80. In 1925 he acted as architect to clients who built their own houses at Kersal, the building contracts being let to a contractor. Eventually he bought land and began to build houses and shops as a speculative builder but by 1928 was adjudged bankrupt. In 1923 He married Dorothy, daughter of Thomas Etchells at Flixton.
