James Beardmore Brez

James B Brez was born Salford in 1875/6, the son of George S Brez and his wife Margaret. In 1900 he married Florence Wallis who died on 21 July 1945. In the 1901 census he is recorded as a joiner, builder and carrier. Brez was appointed surveyor to Manchester Education Committee before 1933 and took responsibility for the design of a number of new schools before the outbreak of the Second World War.
