CONTRACTS. To Builders WHITECHAPEL UNION WORKHOUSE - The Guardians of the Whitechapel Union will meet at the Workhouse, in the Whitechapel Road. on Friday, 1 August next at three o'clock in the afternoon precisely. to receive Tenders and Contracts for BUILDING the FIRST PORTION of the NEW WORKHOUSE for this Union, in Charles-street, Mile-end New-town. The plans, specification, and conditions of Contract may be inspected at the Offices of the Architect. THOMAS. D. BARRY Esq. 15, Lincoln's-inn-fields, London, and Bedford-street North, Liverpool. from the 14th to the 19th of July next. Builders proposing to Tender, or their representatives. are invited to meet the Architect at his office, 15, Lincoln's-inn- fields. London. on Friday. the 4th of July next. for general explanation, and to receive particulars. Tenders must be delivered sealed up and endorsed "Tender for Workhouse." at the Whitechapel Workhouse previous to the time of meeting; and the person whose Tender is accepted will be required to give satisfactory security in the sum of £2,000 for the due performance of the Contract. - The Guardians reserve to themselves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender. — By order of the Board.
