There are special accommodations of various kinds, including a Disinfecting Chamber, and there are also Nurses’ Rooms, Dormitories, and a large well-lighted Day Room. The internal fittings are of pine, the staircases and Corridors having a dado of glazed bricks. The building has been erected by Mr. W. H. Forde, has cost about £3,000 and will give accommodation for thirty more beds. [Builders Journal 13 May 1896 page 223]
