Methodist New Connexion Chapel, Droylsden Road, Newton Heath
TO BUILDERS. — Persons desirous of Tendering for the whole or any portion of the work required in the erection of a New Chapel for the Methodist New Connection at Culcheth, Newton Heath, may inspect the plans and specifications at the adjoining schools or at the Architect's Office, "The Hollins" Stalybridge, where bills of quantities may be obtained on and after Wednesday the 16th instant. NEW CHAPEL AT NEWTON HEATH - On Saturday the corner stones of a new chapel belonging to the Methodist New Connexion were laid at Newton Heath by Miss Harwood and Miss Derbyshire and a memorial stone by Mr John McNamee. The new building will be in Droysden Road on the site of the chapel which has been taken down. The style will be Gothic from designs by Mr Gregory Gill, architect, Stalybridge.
